Carrier’s Global Engineering Conference Puts the Future in Focus
Innovation is a guiding principle at Carrier. It shapes our products and services, our operations and our culture. From Willis Carrier’s invention of modern air conditioning to our advances in energy efficiency, innovation is part of our DNA.
Today, our approach to innovation extends beyond our company walls. Hosting key events for industry partners and stakeholders around the world allows Carrier to foster sustainable building practices, advocate for energy efficiency, and promote technical expertise.
In March 2012, Carrier will continue this tradition of industry leadership by hosting the 11th Global Engineering Conference, entitled “20/20 the Future in Focus: Rethink. Restore. Regenerate.” Designed to foster dialogue among engineering professionals, the event will feature a variety of keynote addresses and concurrent workshops, presented by some of the world’s thought leaders in sustainability. Together, we’ll examine emerging trends in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, discuss how we can apply green building and sustainable design principles to existing projects, and determine how we will support environmental stewardship in the future.
At Carrier, we will never rest on our accomplishments, but instead seek ways to continuously improve our products, our environment and our world. With this commitment in mind, I hope you will join us in Las Vegas, March 18-20, 2012 and share your perspectives on how we can rethink, restore and regenerate.
